  • WE BELIEVE THAT
    every person was created for friendship with God.
    we were created in His image and likeness.
    we were created to know, love and serve God.

    BUT IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
    we were captured by sin.
    we distrusted God's goodness.

    OUR SIN & DISTRUST HAD DESTRUCTIVE CONSEQUENCES:
    we lost our relationship with God.
    sin and evil entered the world.

    BUT EVIL DID NOT WIN.
    God sent His only Son into the world.
    His name is Jesus.

    AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR US TO RESPOND:
    will we accept His invitation to live in the Resurrection?
    will we embrace His mercy, turn from our sin, and say "yes" to Heaven?

    BY HIS DEATH ON A CROSS
    Jesus rescued us from sin & death.
    He rose from the grave.
    He repaired the brokenness.

    THE APOSTLES’ CREED (OUR CREED)
    I believe in God,
    the Father almighty,
    Creator of heaven and earth,
    and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
    who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
    born of the Virgin Mary,
    suffered under Pontius Pilate,
    was crucified, died and was buried;
    he descended into hell;
    on the third day he rose again from the dead;
    he ascended into heaven,
    and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
    from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
    I believe in the Holy Spirit,
    the holy catholic Church,
    the communion of saints,
    the forgiveness of sins,
    the resurrection of the body,
    and life everlasting.
    Amen.
